3K a year East Manufacturing, the leading semi-trailer manufacturer in NE Ohio, is currently seeking a Materials Yard Supervisor.
This is a full-time, salaried position, that will work M-F, with some possible Saturdays.
High school diploma or GED is required for this position.
Essential cognitive skills:
The Materials Yard Supervisor must be able to manage the flow of all material goods and parts within the facility and utilize controls whenever necessary.
Excellent leadership and communication skills are important as this position will work closely with buyers and shop personnel in order to facilitate the flow of materials and inventory management.
The Yard Supervisor will also work to improve the inventory mapping of the facility and recommend other process improvements.
The incumbent must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Macola.
Essential physical skills:
The Yard Supervisor must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 50% of the day.
This position requires the ability to see, hear, feel with hands, and to communicate verbally.
This position requires extensive work outside in various weather elements, including rain, heat, cold, and snow.
